Many schools have different kinds of track and field teams, but Cerro Villa has to have the best. For instance, are team is competitive but we also work as a team to get through it. Last year games (2015-2016), went very well because CV got higher scores than our rival’s team. If any new kids want to join CV’s track team, there is different units for everyone including, hurdles, long jumps, softball throws, shot put, 100 meter, 200 meter e.t.c.

Our team has great players, but they wouldn’t be great if we didn’t have amazing coaches. Last year our coach was Mr. Hempel, which was a big help to our team. We had about 20-30 team members last year, so we are hoping for more! Each year we have about 3 or 4 games at different places. Our first game we had was at our CV’s track field. Then we went to El Rancho’s track field to verse their team. And of course, we got better scores!

Finally, each team needs a team uniform, so last year our uniform was a sleeve-less, black (sport texture) shirt that had our school’s logo on the front in white. Then Mr. Hempel gave each player a number. The number you had would be on the back of the shirt in white. We’ve played at different schools before, but the school that would get a couple of more points than us, is El Rancho. You could say that they are our rivals, but CV will always be better!
